Team Folon's Dean Carter, project lead on the highly anticipated mod Fallout London, has opened up about how Bethesda's upcoming Fallout 4 update impacted the studio, saying the team felt “blindsided” by the move. bit.ly/3xNVM8g
@IGN The next gen update has been common knowledge for a while. Like Bethesda will call it off because of Modders lol
@IGN Translation - wah wah the property I dont own the rights to is updating their game and we feel the big company should have told us despite us not owning the IP and not logically thinking that they'll release the update that they announced over a year ago with the fallout show
@IGN What a temper tantrum 😂 what an absolute joke.
@IGN If Fallout London wasnt PC only I might care.
@IGN QQ It's Bethesda's property and it's resurging in popularity due to the show. Of course they're going to capitalize on it. Complaining about this is like listening to Harry Potter fanfic writers whine that Deathly Hallows ruined their fan theories. Yes, I'm old.
@IGN They can do whatever they want to. It's their IP, they don't owe you anything.
@IGN I love the FOLONDON team and can't wait to play their superb project but I don't understand how they got blindsided by this update. It was announced so long ago too.
@IGN They absolutely used this situation to blame a delay on Bethesda. They can still release it, plenty of people who mod their game have auto update disabled for this very reason. All those people will be able to play it
@IGN Maybe the team could pitch this to Bethesda and create an actual official release? I think all Fallout fans would love to play Fallout London, not just the PC master race
