Square Enix has lost nearly $2 billion dollars since June when Final Fantasy 16 launched and a new report casts doubt on if the company will be able to recover. bit.ly/3ZdHU0J
@IGN This is poor reporting, the share price dropped due to a multitude of factors, 2 of which include a large drop in revenue from the mobile and MMO divisions. The narrative that FF16 caused this is factually incorrect.
@IGN Should have gone multi plat, absolutely fantastic game
@IGN For context since this header is clearly click bait to make it seem like FF16 caused this
@IGN Next time don't spend $100 million to develop a game and only $5 on the script.
Like FFXV, FFXVI also feels rushed. The problem with FFXV while it was great for two thirds of the journey the last part went totally linear and ruined the idea of open world. Also did anyone notice how bland the last city you visit in that game was? It looked like city of water like Venice but there was nowhere to go in it. I don't understand why SQEnix even needed to rush the next one.
@IGN They need some Chrono trigger / live a live story telling.
@IGN The fact y’all pointing towards FF16 with this clickbait for attention and to generate more hate from “fans” of the series instead of directly telling people that Forspoken and Avengers being the direct reasoning for that lost while knowing people don’t read fr is kinda crazy
@IGN That’s what they get for shafting Xbox. Serves them right!
