@Humane I want to like this product , but damn this is the opposite of a sizzle reel. You guys spent 3 minutes talking about what color it was before you gave any clue about it’s value proposition or why anyone should care what this is.
@Humane What purpose does this actually serve?
@Humane Congratulations 🙌🏾! Awesome gadget. Don’t make it again
@Humane Value here is spending less time on your phone. Creates more special moments in life with technology. This is the beginning of spatial computing slowly disappearing in the background.
@Humane Not sure what this can do for 699$ + 25$/m, what ChatGPT API can't do inside an app or some 5$ microcontroller and a 1$ cam... Cool idea but not sure... Thinking about making a video on how i try to replicate the pin using ChatGPT API on an ESP32, anyone interested? 🤔
This is both a little creepy and exciting. My thoughts: - The design is more Apple, than most modern Apple products - no wonder, as they previously worked at Apple. But it also proves Apple is becoming less Apple. - The AI features done this way make perfect sense and will inspire tweaks in regular AI assistant apps. The big brands will copy that "seemlessness" quickly. - The bento style UI for memories looks nice, but when filled with "regular" life stuff from people it won't look as nice. - The laser display didn't look that sharp on his hand, but that I guess can be improved. - It is innovation and a new product category, like an alexa that you wear. - Privacy was mentioned, but in reality everyone says they don't share their data and then we all know how it goes. - Magnets and radios close to the heart? - And how about privacy of other people? Will they like their faces to be scanned by your Pin when ordering a coffee? How would they know you didn't just tape over that light and are still recording them? Same questions as with Google glass. - The most impressive thing to me was protein calculation of the almonds, but we'll have to wait and see how accurate this is. Can still inspire regular phone apps to do similar stuff. - Even if the product doesn't take off in a big way, the bold ideas and creativity will be seen in other products. I didn't mind the presentation at all, not everyone needs to be a salesman.
@Humane The shape is all wrong. It should look like this:
