Not from black box AI that you don’t even understand why it made certain decisions or one that changes output based on context eg being under “tests” and it hides intentions or has the capability of falsifying FDA records to chase a goal of creating an accepted cure.

Sometimes skipping the journey is just as dangerous and just as not beneficial. Imagine if in 1969 we had just teleported to the moon. We wouldn’t have some of the other discoveries and inventions in engineering, material sciences, communication, medicine etc we have now. So I’m quite conflicted on this. It’s well and great AI could do this but we almost lost connecting the dots.

Absolutely agree with you.
