Can someone be a climate scientist and a Christian? For @KHayhoe it is BECAUSE she's a Christian that she is a climate scientist! She believes combating global warming is part of our call to love our neighbors and care for the least of these. Listen here bit.ly/49oUOwq
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe So grateful for this important conversation. I have followed Dr. Hayhoe with great interest for years and have shared her interviews, writings and podcasts with fellow Christians to help us see “climate change” as a biblical mandate that goes beyond partisan rhetoric.
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe You guys spelled Katharine Hayhoe's name wrong in your graphic, someone should fix that. Usually it's the first name that trips people up. Also, why do you keep ditching us on Threads, so that I have to come over here to the bad place to talk to you, Holy Post?
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe The problem with her logic is that fossil fuels do far more to benefit humans than climate change does to hurt us. She cites food, but there would be mass starvation without fossil fuels. All of our food production and transportation depends on oil and we can’t change that
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe This was such a great conversation. Dr. Hayhoe's positivity is encouraging and inspiring.
@HolyPostPodcast @mbird12 @KHayhoe A bit too extreme for me.
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe I was surprised that people were upset about the bibles or the trans day of visibility when the dark spectre of cancellation hangs over news of the butt😳
@HolyPostPodcast @KHayhoe I appreciate the enthusiasm, but this seems a bit on the extreme end of HP content.
