A former AHL Calder Cup champ is up for today's edition of #SignatureSaturday. This 2015-16 #UpperDeck Portfolio Rookie Phenom autograph card features a sticker signature of Jean-Francois Berube, depicting him with the #NewYorkIslanders. This was a Group E auto (1:134 packs).
We are a day late for this former NHL goalie's birthday, but nevertheless, today's #PieceOfHistory is this #gameworn #PittsburghPenguins road jersey worn by Andy Chiodo in 2003-04. It was worn for his #NHL debut, as well as his first career NHL win among other games.
Before he set the Oilers' franchise record for wins in a season, Cam Talbot played #TheirFirstGame. An undrafted netminder, Talbot made his #NHL debut for the #NewYorkRangers on October 24, 2013. Starting in goal vs Philadelphia, Talbot stopped 25 shots in a 2-1 defeat.
On this day in 2016, Braden Holtby #ShutTheDoor! It was Game 6, Round 1 of the playoffs between the #WashingtonCapitals and Philadelphia Flyers. With the Caps on the road, Holtby stopped all 26 shots that he faced while a lone goal by Nicklas Backstrom led the Caps to a 1-0W.
24 years ago today, Evgeni Nabokov made his NHL playoff debut. Today's #PieceOfHistory is this set of Bauer Reactor goalie pads used by Nabokov with the #SanJoseSharks in 1999-00, from the second half of the season up to and including his #NHL playoff debut on Apr 23, 2000.
On March 29, 1964, Bob Champoux made his #SolePlayoffAppearance. In Game 2, Round 1 between the #DetroitRedWings and Chicago Blackhawks, Champoux made his #NHL debut when he replaced an injured Terry Sawchuk for 54:38. He stopped 14 shots as he and the Red Wings won 5-4.
On April 27, 2013, Chris Mason played #TheirFinalGame. A veteran of 11 #NHL seasons, Mason was a member of the #NashvillePredators when he played his final NHL game. Starting in goal vs the Columbus Blue Jackets, Mason stopped 44 of 46 shots that he faced in a 3-1 defeat.

Today's #PieceOfHistory is this Vaughn glove and blocker that were used by Jeremy Smith in 2016-17 with the #ColoradoAvalanche. The glove was used in six games, including his #NHL debut, while the blocker was used for four games, including his final NHL game.

On October 17, 1996, Tommy Soderstrom played #TheirFinalGame. A veteran of 5 #NHL seasons, Soderstrom was a member of the #NewYorkIslanders when he played his final NHL game. Relieving Tommy Salo in goal for 26 seconds vs the Hartford Whalers, Soderstrom faced no shots.
