Tax Freedom Day is the day of the year in which the average American tax payer has worked enough to have paid all the taxes they will owe for the relevant year. In 1900 that day was JANUARY 22ND! This year it is estimated that the Tax freedom day will fall on or very near April 15th. 😒. Oh the irony. Add to this that while many of us have known about the vast levels of fraud, waste, & abuse that has gone on for many many decades, even more know now or have received a strong reminder, due to @nickshirleyy 's bold investigating & reporting. There are so many reasons to be justifiably enraged about this problem. So very many reasons. That said, I am most incensed when I think about all of the families who have struggled to keep the bills paid. Struggled to keep their kids in a school that will not harm them spiritually, physcologically, or physically. Who have struggled to pay for meaningful medical care & or insurance. It breaks my heart to think of the daddys and mommys who were pushed to breaking points over finances and yet had to stretch, somehow, even farther, to satisfy the succubus in D.C. who is not only happy to waste it on evil and avarice but also to participate in outright theft! We will not cross the line. Not yet. America is still far to comfortable to pay the wages that our government & politicians have earned. However, our rulers deserve the best of us, which would mean the worst for them. I do not know when, but honest historians would be giving dire warnings...

Out here feeding in the cold rain on a holiday thinking about how all the fruits of my labor from now until Apr or May will go to corrupt politicians and their Somali learing centers. The social contract is broken. If there aren’t mass arrests and deportations now, they’re going to force us all to become outlaws. There’s only so much honest Americans can take.
