Iran’s attack was a sort of masterful response. Israel & the U.S. were forewarned and therefore prepared, actual damage insubstantial and calculated to minimize civilian harm (notably *zero deaths* of any kind) + performative fireworks show. No Israeli response is warranted.
@Heidi__Matthews I agree re the wisdom of Israel not responding. But the outcome you describe was wholly dependent on air defenses working flawlessly. They did. But there was no guarantee, & if a significant # of targets had actually been reached, there'd be a full scale war now.
@Heidi__Matthews I for sure think Israel should not use force against Iran now. But a seven year old girl is fatally wounded. So I would be careful with praising this attack.

@Heidi__Matthews This discourse is along the same lines that’s it’s okay to shoot at police officers as they’re wearing Kevlar vests. I agree that no response from Israel is required, but let’s not understate the seriousness of the attack. Zero casualties was never a guarantee.
@Heidi__Matthews No one who lived through the Iranian onslaught would promote such offensive, false, and condescending blather. Let’s hope this person is nowhere near anyone involved in developing actual govt policy and military strategy.
