For a recent season, the greatest good I did in the world was to simply walk. How sad would it have been if I chose not to walk because it didn't seem significant compared to what I used to accomplish, what others were doing, or what I may have the capacity to do in the future.

Since finding out I had Ulcerative Colitis about 10 years ago, I have noticed that there is a correlation between my physical health and my mental/emotional/spiritual health. 1 of 2
I had a colectomy last September. After surgery I went from using a walker to get around the house to walking a mile unaided, but I couldn't run without intense pain at the incision site. After walking a mile consistently every day, I can finally jog a little pain free. 2 of 2
I have found that consistently doing what little I can do, has a great tendency to increase what I can do. 1 of 2
