I am looking to be able to closely track and measure progress for our SEND pupils in a primary school so we can capture the progress they are making has anyone got a way in which they do this in school. They make progress and I want to be able to celebrate that
I wonder if today will be the day that the @NEUnion listen to their members and aggressively go after the elephant in the room right now, and finally eliminate the toxic pressure OFSTED brings. Forget minimum staffing levels, we need action and we need it now!

Five years ago, I was asked if I'd fancy doing a voice over on a new show about cars. I said yes. Tonight, it's the 100th episode of Bangers and Cash. Actually, it's a show about people, with cars in, and it's lovely. Happy Anniversary @DTMathewsons x
Good grief, they're not scholars, they're children. Just because we can do something, it doesn't mean that we should. Young children are not mini-adults, we can't complain about children not being "school ready" if we're not giving them what they need when they need it.
what does Ofsted mean when it says that children in the early years can 'sit like a scholar'? what is sitting like a scholar? where can i learn how to sit like a scholar? which 3 year old can teach me how to sit like a scholar?

Am trying desperately hard to remain positive/optimistic, but how can a former Ofsted Chief Inspector conduct an ‘independent’ inquiry in to the actions of an institution they once led? An ex-headteacher would never be asked back to review the actions of one of their successors…

So I’ve been a headteacher for 10 years. 10 years in the same school. Still as bothered about the job as I was when I started. It’s been a rollercoaster and a challenge, but more than anything it’s been a total privilege to be the custodian of this school @EastWhitbyPA
@Headteacherchat I've been enjoying Survivor. Can I suggest they make a raft and paddle out to a buoy, then dive down to untie some knots to release a key, race back to unlock a chest filled with jigsaw pieces. First to complete wins immunity. Secondary judgement on how fit they look in swimwear.

I’m over 50, I see what an absolute disaster this government has been for the young people of this country stripping away choices and futures. Rishi can literally take a flying leap if he thinks I’d ever vote for him and his rotten government.
Seen this at a school very local to me pupils at risk of failing moved on. Seen the other local schools pick up the pieces. School in question meanwhile gets great results and Ofsted Outstanding while the others are slammed by the same measures. thetimes.co.uk/article/271016…

Thank you @DanielKebedeNEU, we’ve never needed unions to stand up for their members more than now, I hope a joint position/statement from all unions follows. Evidence is indisputable, with more to come from Select Committee. We’ve a duty of a care & a two-week pause isn’t enough.
