Yes, it is. The Canadian Crown represents our history. It ties us to a millennium of history and conflict and it forms the centrepiece of our governmental system. Of course, if you don't like it, you can always leave.

@Harry__Faulkner The Windsor family usurped the throne. The "crown" as you say was sold to the Vatican/Rothschild dynasty in the mid-17th century making up for the Tutor kings mistakes.
@Harry__Faulkner Actually, that would be the French king. But the French ditched the monarchy eons ago.
@Harry__Faulkner Well said. Support from Northern Ireland 🇬🇧
@Harry__Faulkner “Of course, if you don't like it, you can always leave.” Racist being racist like always
@Harry__Faulkner For some citizens the Crown represent deportation and killing of our ancestors. But I will take your advice, and continue to fight to leave Canada, through my nation's independance ! Thanks for openly support Québec indépendance!
@Harry__Faulkner The Crown has little effect on the general thinking of the public. The majority of people view/think the Prime Minister as Head of State. After Elizabeth died, it only became more apparent that the Constitutional Monarchy needed to be questioned vs the status quo.
@Harry__Faulkner Because as we know, you can't criticize historical stuff you dont like, because you apparently get the authority to decide that.
@Harry__Faulkner Right. And like it or not, until or if the day ever comes where Canada abandons the monarchy we shall keep all the monarchical traditions.
@Harry__Faulkner Why do ppl born in foreign countries disparage 🇨🇦’s history and values? Ppl used to come to 🇨🇦 and embrace their new home while sharing their culture. They worked hard and were proud of this country they helped build. It feels like today it’s the exact opposite.
@Harry__Faulkner Canadian Governors General are Canadian residents who represent the Sovereign in Canada, a monarch it shares with 14 other countries in an international fraternity of nations. This long-standing arrangement suits the country's history, traditions and political culture perfectly.
