Apparently Rishi is ‘openly saying to advisers in Downing Street, “Am I not very good at this? Why isn’t anything happening?”’ What a pity for us he didn’t realise that before he took the job.
@HarrietSergeant Just like Brown he put more effort into getting the job than planning how to make use of the opportunity.
@HarrietSergeant When you’ve been “golden boy” successful all your life and you suddenly find you are not up to your current job…it must be mind blowing! I say this with no sense of irony…..
@HarrietSergeant It shouldn’t be too difficult: have a vision, keep the message simple, deliver on your promises! Some of us would give our right arms to take on the job.
@HarrietSergeant And why didn’t they realise it before they appointed him?
@HarrietSergeant His record as chancellor was a given he'd be crap as PM
@HarrietSergeant Probably because no one wants to make anything happen in the UK today. It's all about moaning and virtue signalling..
@HarrietSergeant A shame no one in Downing St is telling him the truth. Unless they want him to fail….
@HarrietSergeant When Labour and Lib Dem’s went for Boris he would have survived had his own MP’s backed him. He was only slightly behind in the polls. I bet they regret it now as a lot of them will lose their seats. Sunak has totally screwed an 80 seat majority.
