I come from the beautiful Sikh community and I’m so proud of it. Unfortunately have experienced the worst wrath of 1984 as a child living 20 feet away from Golden Temple with loss to life and property but still didn’t lose faith in my nation and its people. I was raised with Saakhis (true stories) of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji saying, "ਮਾਨਸ ਕੀ ਜਾਤ ਸਬੈ ਏਕੈ ਪਹਿਚਾਨਬੋ" (all are equal) and that of Massa Rangarh who was beheaded because he bought dancing girls to perform in the precincts of Golden Temple. Thats the character of our Sikhi blood. But today I see Sikhs criticizing Ram Mandir which was attained via a legal battle fought in court. Not sure why we cannot be happy in their happiness especially when we have a history of reclaiming what was ours all along! If we do it, it’s right. If they do it, it’s wrong? Criticizing Ram Mandir means endorsing Babar’s actions and I have been restless thinking how we are endorsing the atrocities of the Mughals today. Please know I am referring to tyrannical Mughals not Muslims. Our great Gurus fought and attained martyrdom for upholding values propounded by our religion. Our Waheguru never taught us hate for other religions. It only taught us love, compassion and acceptance! To our Hindu fraternity, please enjoy the day. We are happy for you. Jai Shri Ram! 🙏
@HarmeenSoch @sonal100605 Nihang sikhs have also contributed in the fight for Ram mandir infact. Guru Nanak Dev Ji's visit to the Ram temple in 1510was one of the key evidence in the case. I fail to understand why people don't learn from their history 🙏🙏
@HarmeenSoch Waheguru Satnam. Jai Shri Ram.
@HarmeenSoch And I'd say as Hindus after being killed & hunted in Punjab in the dark eras of the 80s and 90s of the Khalistan terrorism, the sentiment is likewise.
@HarmeenSoch Think about them too
@HarmeenSoch @sharrmasumann Beautiful yet honestly pokey sentiment not many would dare to approach. I was in Delhi in 1984 and saw the Sikh riot, destroyed my innocence forever. I know Hindus in Punjab faced ethnic cleansing too. But you are ours, like we are yours. Stay Beautiful! #SiyavarRamchandraKiJai
