@HansMahncke Wouldn’t the NTSB investigate disruptions to an interstate highway? Also, the captain was from the local authority since local captains are always piloting when entering and leaving a port.
@HansMahncke You missed an important point: the captain and the engineer should publish "peer-reviewed" articles declaring that natural causes were to blame, not human error. That should settle the matter.

@HansMahncke 2nd largest port on the East Coast for Coal. If the Feds take over the bridge replacement they can block the port as long as possible to protect the Climate from the Evils of Fossil Fuels. NTSD Lady deflected when asked 4 a timeline to clear the debris and open the port.
