As of today, mask-wearing will no longer be mandatory in our hospitals. The decision to wear a mask will be personal choice, except in certain circumstances. Surgical facemasks will remain available across each site. Read our visiting guidance here: bit.ly/3rDhKCk
@HHFTnhs Please do a risk assessment for the elderly and immunocompromised. I expect you to take care of me not expose me to killer diseases.
@HHFTnhs The majority of people in hospitals are there because they are an inpatient/outpatient, so are CV already. Covid is NOT over we have been told by the WHO not2let down our guard so CV people in all healthcare settings should be protected, it’s the only ethical/sensible thing2do!>>
@HHFTnhs Having lots of hand gel available is ok, but it does not prevent the spread of covid in busy often confined, unventilated areas of all healthcare settings. You can breathe the virus in immediately esp if you are having a close up procedure. The clinical staff are at risk too😟
@HHFTnhs I am CV&v strictly shielded not seeing family or friends 4a long time. I attended a vital HC appt in 2020 &was v ill a week later =covid>long covid just starting2 feel better. I really don’t want covid again, so not taking risks socially, but do need2 attend HC appts! 🤷🏻♀️
@HHFTnhs This is so disheartening for those of us who are immunosuppressed and vulnerable. Even health care is no longer a safe place for us.
@HHFTnhs Appalling. What happened to "do no harm". Can patients sue you then when they get hospital acquired #Covid ? You should be advocating for FFP3 masks/air filters #KeepMasksinHealthcare
@HHFTnhs Hi @HHFTnhs can you explain the reasoning behind your decision? What changed? Do you have any airborne mitigations in place? Unfortunately this decision makes your hospitals less accessible to Clinically Vulnerable people who need safe healthcare. #MasksInHealthcare
@HHFTnhs Please reconsider. How many CV patients will now refuse f2f appts. How many staff will you risk getting ill. #CovidIsNotOver #COVIDisAirborne
@HHFTnhs Can you publish your risk assessment for elderly dementia patients who cannot one-way mask using your facilities?
