There's no rational reason other than greed for Novo Nordisk to charge $12,000 a year for Ozempic in the United States while that same exact drug can be purchased for just $2,000 in Canada & $750 in Germany. It's time for the pharmaceutical industry to stop ripping off Americans.

Amgen charges Americans more than TRIPLE for lifesaving Rheumatoid arthritis drug Enbrel than patients in other high-income countries. Thanks to President Biden, Medicare is now negotiating a lower price for Enbrel, which will reduce costs for seniors and taxpayers.
And we have to KEEP fighting for #LowerDrugPricesNow so that everyone, no matter their insurance or their zip code, can afford a trip to the pharmacy.
Life-saving prescription drugs don't do any good if patients can't afford them. That's why Democrats fought to lower prescription drug costs for seniors—saving patients money and making sure they can get and afford the health care they need.
