A patient who developed severe herbal liver injury after consuming a host of Ayurvedic products asked me side-effects of medications that I prescribed to help her reverse her herbal-liver injury. I calmly and in detail, described all the effects and side effects (and more benefits than risks) of medications I prescribed to help her reduce the side effects of herbal medicines she blindly took without questioning the Ayurveda practitioner. Sometimes I feel like Grand Master Oogway. No rage. No hate. Total inner peace.
@theliverdr Could you list the ayurvedic products your patient was taking? And which way it was harmful to liver? It seems to me that you are just cooking up stories to defame Ayurveda. This is your only agenda. Stop this nonsense.
@GurjarCareer @theliverdr In science, there is no defamation. It’s either true or false, works or doesn’t work. There is zero evidence that ayurvedic core principles are true, or that any ayurvedic treatment modality is comparable to or better than that of modern medical science. Ayurveda is quackery.
@GurjarCareer @theliverdr Not one, in all products. Ayurvedic products have been found to contain toxic metals such as lead, mercury& arsenic. These heavy metals can pose serious health issues like neurological, renal, gastrointestinal and nervous system-related symptoms. They use alcohal in homeopathy.
@GurjarCareer @theliverdr you are the one with nonsense here...
