@amychalfant The blame isnt on your shoulders. It is on the poor planning at the district. How could the Supt not predict there was going to be an explosion in enrollment? Why didnt she allocate staff to help prepare VOL so the teachers werent overwhelmed?
Hearing rumors that VOL live lessons will be delayed due to not all students having credentials... anyone confirm @VCSTeacher @VUEUnion ... but I mean they all have schedules right??

Volusia School Board meetings are reopening to the public. School started two weeks ago, prompting many to wonder why the board meetings were closed because of social distancing concerns when students and staff were back in school with masks on.
In 1st period today we were greeted with green crystallized cleaning fluid on desks and chairs being eaten away at by disinfectant. 🤮 Is this what you want in our classrooms? Is this safe for us? @Idarite @JamieMichele6 @CarlPersis @RubenColonVCS @bycassidy @VUEPresident

VOL says your not behind... but lets think about this... Students in VOL now have the least time of any district to complete Sem 1... If they are tired of waiting and go back to B&M they are 2 weeks behind... Congrats @volusiaschools for partial truths...

@LisaNehrig @volusiaschools @VUEUnion Unfortunately that looks like the case... I mean its pretty obvious that VCS "leadership" wants to sweep things under the rug and discuss how wonderful the opening of school was... meanwhile whole grade levels are being told to stay home.
