"During the pandemic, we relied on immigrants to keep our society going. We honored them by calling them 'essential workers.' But that's all faded. I don't understand why we're not standing up and saying, 'We relied on immigrant workers. Let's do right by them now.'"

@GregTSargent @HC_Richardson Remember when the Canadians ran the criminal Drumpf immigrants out of their country? #FredDrumpf Can't we get some County Mounties to invade our northern border and help us out here? How about a parade or other such spectacle?!!? #CallingCountyMounties
@GregTSargent @HC_Richardson I listened to this podcast about the workers on the bridge who were filling potholes in the middle of the night. It’s heartbreaking. All of you complaining about immigrants need to face reality & stop demonizing these hard workers. They deserve respect & just want a better life.
@GregTSargent And don’t forget the sons and daughters of India who supported our healthcare system during the pandemic. India born doctors, nurses and care providers worked at personal risk to save American lives from Covid 19.
@GregTSargent @HC_Richardson We could and should honor the many dependents for whom they were working so hard.
@GregTSargent The gop isnt thinking of the farmers, the food growers and other industries that depend on Migrants whose businesses will suffer, and whose votes they will lose. Not to mention the votes of those who are sympathetic to the plight of immigrants in this country
@GregTSargent Thank you for your wonderful thoughts. We need to lean into being pro immigrant. We owe them the world.
@GregTSargent Especially in light of those who just lost their lives working on the bridge. They do jobs many others don't want. Someone should publish an analysis. Another good example is care workers.
@GregTSargent Maryland is an Uber D state. Baltimore more so. Look in the mirror greg.
