Astonishing. If politicians don’t start taking the climate crisis seriously, extreme weather, like Storm Babet, will become more frequent and severe.

@GreenpeaceUK politicians and taxes will have no effect on climate--because the cause of climate change has been grievously misdiagnosed. x.com/EthicalSkeptic…

@GreenpeaceUK Really? Why hasn't it happened yet? Has climate change not started?
@GreenpeaceUK And yet, for all the increase of CO2, extreme events have become less common. A bit of a hint, don’t you think?
@GreenpeaceUK I reckon that bridge was built in the 1800PC (pre climate crap) Any reason you can think of why it’s so high?
@GreenpeaceUK Its called a storm, something that has been seen multiple times a year for millions of years and the data from the IPCC shows no signs that extreme weather events have increased in either frequency or intensity but doyle that stop you posting propaganda.
@GreenpeaceUK Politicians getting serious just means higher taxes, etc.
@GreenpeaceUK Not a climate change denier, but stop blaming it for everything. Or 'forgetting' to mention this summer's high temperatures were largely due to El Niño and the Tonga volcano. I mean, was CC a thing hundreds of years ago? jbatrust.org/wp-content/upl…
@GreenpeaceUK Since when does climate change have anything to do with 24 hours of rain? This weather is nothing new
