Greenpeace is disappointed that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) did not order an immediate ceasefire in Gaza today. We repeat our call for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire - massive and urgent humanitarian aid must be delivered unimpeded to the people of Gaza now - and for the release of all hostages and all illegally detained people.
As an organisation committed to promoting peace and the upholding of the rights and welfare of all people, we demand respect for international law - as outlined in the ICJ ruling even though it stopped short of ending the violence. An immediate and comprehensive ceasefire is the only viable option to achieve this.
@Greenpeace This is one of the reasons why I stopped donating. I don’t want my money to be used in political things.
@Greenpeace Perfect demonstration of how Greenpeace has been subject to the slow march into the institutions and is now virulently Marxist.
@Greenpeace At least you’re calling for both sides to cease fire. 👍
@Greenpeace Hamas can release the hostages and surrender at any time. No one is stopping them from ending the war they started with the barbaric attacks of Oct 7.
@Greenpeace Wahoo, so it’s true, you are on the verge of financial bankruptcy?
