@KarenLajoi7422 @donnahot4Gaz @GraphiteMethod Et maman vieillissante aussi jamais placé sauf pour ses 6 derniers mois de vie ayant fait un AVC important .vous voyer mesdames et Vincent la fin de vie n'est pas facile pour les parents et les aidants. C'est pour cela qui faut profiter de la vie le moindre petit plaisir
@KarenLajoi7422 @donnahot4Gaz @GraphiteMethod Moi je me suis occupée de mes parents vieillissants pendant plus 20ans tout en travaillant la nuit. J'avoue pas facile l'amour oui mais il faut savoir se protéger soi même même si il y a des concessions à faire contre eux .placé mon père pas facile pour ses enfants pas le choix
@GraphiteMethod Believe it or not I worked at a meat packing plant & watched the side of beef severed in 2 & hung on a hook Like little bees attending to a flower, slicers, cutters, knifers with meathooks would take an almost infinite amount of nourishing bits fm it buzzing about, surrounding it

@LDMDianaDodge @GraphiteMethod I can imagine! My mom’s already trying to give family what they want & getting rid of things bit by bit. It’s still sad & a bit traumatic even now!
@GraphiteMethod I remember. And I remember when you originally posted this. Such a beautiful tribute to your mom. I remember reading it to my mom. My mom is almost 97 & I’m her primary caregiver. That’s hard too… flipping the script & role reversals… Hugs to you & yours.🙏🏻
@GraphiteMethod My mom fell a few months ago, hit her head, went to hospital to recover then Rehab. Now trying to get her into Assisted Living as a place to be when I or other family members aren’t available to take care of her. It’s a struggle. Hard transitions.
@GraphiteMethod Every time I go to visit my mom at Rehab, I’ve been sharing your works of poetry that You and Laurence have been doing. She seems to really enjoy and appreciates them. ❤️🙏🏻

We lost our mother this time last year. Its hard. The 1960’s Mother ground down with lies from the other. Unsupported by the limp society of the times. She was left alone with three children in tow. Curse the reality of that time. This woman accomplished greatness. Two jobs…
@donnahot4Gaz @GraphiteMethod It’s so hard to take care of an aging parent. I feel your struggle Donna. My mom past away from ALS back in 2011. Keeping you in my prayers.
@KarenLajoi7422 @GraphiteMethod Moms getting Dementia… sundowning mostly the last year but it’s getting worse. It’s worse when she’s tired or stressed… She used to have a brain that worked like a computer, excellent memory, now forgetful.😞😢
@GraphiteMethod 3 kids in tow. No one is perfect. But a true mother survives. Good read, dear sir. Good read.
@donnahot4Gaz @GraphiteMethod I was in your exact situation so I understand how trying it can be. My mom fell at home and fractured her skull, neck & femur. After a year of rehab I was able to move her near me into a wonderful assisted living home.
@donnahot4Gaz @GraphiteMethod The hardest part, was selling the family home of 53 years and trying to consolidate it all into an assisted living apartment. But she is now safe & happy. ❤️
@LDMDianaDodge @GraphiteMethod We hope to keep her home for as long as possible & I continue to pick her up & take her to her house when I’m available to sit & stay with her for extended periods of time, but she’ll have a safe place to be when I have other things to do… 🙏🏻🙏🏻
