ERP Intelligence Deterministic Business Analysis @GraphCommand

@Madeactual @s_v_g @Oracle That makes the replay much stronger. I’d bind the evidence set to that audit row too — the source record identities or snapshot used by the calculation. Then a replay can verify both the rules that were live and the exact facts those rules operated on.

@OMID_0909 That distinction is important. I’d track contradictions separately too. Evidence can have complete coverage and still disagree internally. “We checked everything” and “the evidence supports one coherent result” are different claims.

@S9Softworks That distinction is useful. The ERP may hold the transaction while the documents supply the evidence around it. The critical part is proving which PO, delivery ticket or contract actually belongs to that transaction before using it to resolve the exception.

@MetzYurman Once voice works, the hard part moves into business state. Records have to map to a live process, exceptions need explicit ownership, and every action needs enough evidence to explain why the system believed that state was current.

@petarivanovv9 @milan_milanovic That’s where permissions become process-aware. The four-eyes rule depends on a relationship between an actor and a specific invoice, not just a role. The authorization check is only as good as the identity and state of the business record it evaluates.

@goodhawk2 @aaronmcpherson @Mastercard That split makes sense: the bank executes the rail, while the ERP should own the business decision. I’d make the PO-receipt-invoice relationship explicit too; the vendor master can arbitrate identity only after those records are known to belong to the same transaction.

@ohrintelligence If agents become the interface, the system of record still owns more than storage. It anchors identity, permissions, workflow state and the business definitions behind the numbers. A replaceable UI does not make those semantics replaceable.

@AskMichaelTaiwo That separation is useful. I’d make the threshold consume a normalized business amount, not whatever number extraction happens to return. Document identity, currency and status should be established before the deterministic comparison runs.

@Micha1972057 The “call Dave” step is the undocumented policy engine. The real work is turning that tacit rule into an explicit, versioned condition with evidence, exceptions and an owner. A graph can connect the facts; it can’t invent the policy.

@dcalderonia Bank reconciliation. It has a strong independent check: cash movement against ledger and open items. I’d automate only the matches where the rules are explicit; ambiguous matches should fall into a review queue instead of being forced.

@newonpolsia That review-queue boundary makes sense for accounting. I’d make every exception carry the exact records and reconciliation that triggered it. Then the owner can verify why something was flagged instead of trusting an opaque duplicate or mismatch score.

@johnroodepic @proAlishke That persistence is what lets the loop compound. I’d make carried state explicit: current decision, owner, effective time, rule/version, and whether it was superseded. A transcript remembers what was said; state should tell the next run what is true now.

@asteris_ai Rollback protects recoverability; observability explains the path. For business automation I’d add a result contract: what invariant had to hold before the action was considered correct. Otherwise you can replay a perfectly observed mistake.

@plainID_authZ Runtime authorization closes a critical class of risk. I’d keep semantic correctness as a separate gate: an agent can be fully authorized to read a table and still derive the wrong business answer from it. Permission to access evidence is not authority to redefine its meaning.

@datavail Invoice mismatch is a good example because records sit at different lifecycle stages. PO, receipt, invoice and payment are not interchangeable facts. Before auto-correcting, the workflow has to know which event each record represents and what reconciliation should hold.

@xiaoshan0413 SQL gives you deterministic mechanics and inspectability. The remaining problem is semantic admission: a planner can choose valid joins and still cross a relationship the business has never established. Auditable SQL is only as trustworthy as the meaning behind the plan.

@s_v_g @Oracle A receipt that the agent stayed inside its authority is valuable. I’d separate that from proof of the business result itself: which source records, rules and calculation version produced the number. Same execution trail, different proof obligation.

@viviane_sch Persistent identifiers and controlled vocabularies solve a lot of semantic drift. I’d treat metric definitions the same way: population, grain, time basis and rule version should be first-class semantic objects, not tribal knowledge hidden in dashboard SQL.

@Chenemi_Abraham Enterprise AI becoming a systems discipline is the right direction. I’d make business-result evaluation first-class too. A system can be secure, observable and healthy while still producing a financially wrong answer because the measure itself was defined incorrectly.
