yesterday i shared that one of my recent AI governance students received a $30k salary increase after completing our program, but the salary increase isn’t even the part i’m most proud of. he came into the program without a traditional IT/security background. his own manager acknowledged that this meant his learning curve was more significant than others on the team. yet, after completing the program, that same manager wrote that he’s demonstrated “considerable growth” in his confidence and proficiency and is now taking on ISSO responsibilities that were recently added to his portfolio. THAT is why i’m so particular about how i teach AI governance. i don’t want people memorizing NIST AI RMF. i don’t want people collecting another certification and still not knowing what to do when they get to work. i want you to understand how to assess risk, how to think through controls, how to write the documentation, how to navigate governance processes, how to communicate what you’ve found, how to actually DO THE WORK. eventually somebody has to trust you enough to give you more responsibility, and that’s what happened here. $30k more is great but increased responsibility + demonstrated competency + a manager who can actually SEE your professional growth? that’s career trajectory. this is why i do what i do. 🙏🏾 if you’ve been trying to figure out how to move into AI governance, i’m opening up conversations for the next cohort. #AIGovernance

My sister’s had a rare experience with our bone marrow transplant. Her Red Blood cells have been dropping. Her remaining O- antibodies are fighting my B+ antibodies. And so, after many blood transfusions, steroids, and Daratumab infusion, a second Stem cell transplant is needed.
