@cowpokereject my 6 year older thoroughbred has tons of random white hairs!! they’re mainly by his hip, but they’re starting to pop up around his blaze. no idea why he has them but they make him more unique ❤️

i feel like i should also mention that this is how jupiter decided to pick up his right lead at his first horse trial 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ he’s totally fine, saddle fits, just got massaged, he just finally had enough of me picking on his leads and was like here’s the fucking right lead mom

forgot to post about it but we had our first recognized show last weekend and jupiter was a proper gentleman! not incredibly pleased with our dressage score, but we only had a 10 minute warmup, and he was very level headed the entire day so overall, 10/10 day!

finally went through with roaching jupiter’s mane and i definitely don’t hate it! he’s so bad about people messing with his mane, and we’ve been working on it but haven’t made enough progress that i feel confident about braiding him this season, so,,, CHOP!
