Today's contribution goes to another open source project on Solana @tinydancerio via @_cubik Client diversity is important for a POS network to flourish, along with having access to light-weight clients that can be run on low-spec machines. While Solana Labs client and Jito Labs client run similar codes, initial version of Firedancer also will have the same codebase as that of labs client with only rewrites on network side. So a bug in one of the areas keeps all these 3 clients potentially vulnerable. Tinydancer will bring in the much needed diversity in the codebase along with a new client to enhance the robustness of Solana network.
There are a lot of venues and recipients to give back to. Coming from a developer background, I understand how important open source resources are, and how underappreciated the developers of these are. Today I decided to show some appreciation to Solana Playground by @acheroncrypto that makes development on @solana a lot more easier for new developers joining in.
