Punishing aspirational parents and making private schools the sole domain of the super-wealthy, whilst forcing swathes of kids on the state sector. Labour will tax tens of thousands of children out of schools they love out of sheer spite. The good old-fashioned politics of envy.

@MarkVipond Why are you so arrogant that you think that those who go to state school arent aspirational? This is exactly the attitude that as a privately educated parent, I will not send my kids to private school.
@Glostermeteor @MarkVipond thats a totally fair point. But lets not pretend this labour policy isnt going to result in a negative for state schools. When parents cant afford to send kids to private schools and more shut, they will be dumped on the state schools. Same goes for trying to close private health
@MarkVipond Private schools endear arrogance, laziness and a culture of false superiority.
@Glostermeteor @MarkVipond I have to be honest here listening to the way the private schools are lobbying it does not fill me with confidence their education is that good I would hsve asked for it to be phased in so those already studying can finish and a exception for kids with extra needs
@Glostermeteor @MarkVipond Most can't afford food let alone private education. #ToriesOut629
