… and (c) if anyone is threatened with a higher bill if they appeal they should make a note of that threat and tell the Tribunal judge about it.
@GeorgePeretzKC @JolyonMaugham To support this. I represented somebody (informally) at a tribunal against the DWP. After it was concluded (the judge decided against the DWP within 20 mins), the judge said that he wished more people came forward against the DWP and said how glad he was that we did.
@GeorgePeretzKC @JolyonMaugham I've been to a couple of tribunals & the judges were very much on the side of the claimant. It was up to the LA or DWP to prove that they had done everything by the letter or they would either dismiss it, or rule in the claimant's favour.
@GeorgePeretzKC @JolyonMaugham Do DWP send anyone to represent themselves for these? I'm guessing in most cases they don't bother and I would also guess that DWP lose most cases. It's all about bullying vulnerable people for them.
@GeorgePeretzKC @JolyonMaugham At the risk of being given the Julian Assange treatment for thinking a, '🥄is a 🥄' ? A person need not be, 'Milton.H.Erickson to extrapolate attacks on 'Carerers' is part of the continuing hostilities to, 'Public Service's?
