Pokémon Generation NDS has officially entered PRODUCTION! 🎬🔥 Development is now moving from technical tests into the actual game. Here’s a first WIP look at one of the opening 3D cutscene, currently being animated in Blender before being converted for Nintendo DS hardware.

Pokémon Generations DS – Dev Update 🔥 First 3D map system is finally implemented after a week of testing. Placeholder map for now, but collisions, vertex colors and world setup are working. Real game development starts very soon, with a downloadable alpha planned. 👀🎮

Pokémon Generations DS running on real Nintendo DSi hardware. All running natively on DS. Not a ROM hack/fangame: built from scratch with BlocksDS. I’m Italian, so AI only helps translate my posts. The actual project development are made by me looking other NDS games functions.😄
I’d rather spend hours understanding how something works, breaking it, fixing it, and learning from it. That’s the part of game development I actually enjoy. I hope this clears things up. From here, I’d really like to keep the discussion focused on the project itself.
I’m completely fine with AI as a learning/support tool. I’m not interested in using it as a replacement for creativity, drawing, animation, coding, or actual development work.
