@MK3sf6 @StreetSensex If rbi hikes the selling may increase for couple days and then reduce significantly but if it holds, selling may continue at current level by fii, also meaning significant hike like 100s of basis points like in case of pakistan and russia when currency pressured etc

If ai/algos driving the investment at western pension funds,swf, mutualfund,hedge fund etc, any tax changes may not plug the bleeding, only raising the domestic interest rate from 5 to 11 would make the algorithm reconsider, for stocks there is not even an easy solution! #usdinr

Try to understand - why govt removed Withholding tax from Govt Bonds? Govt need money to meet fiscal deficit.. where as FII selling bonds or redeeming it on maturity. Govt is not is position to pay countries debt.. we dont have enough money. So we removed taxes on Interest
