There was a reason for that. Generally you’re not going to change the make-up of an individual overnight. It happens overtime, if they are willing to do their work. With all the things that make up a beautiful life, there is always a learning curve. And not everyone’s nice about it, that’s a guarantee. I had a lot of fun connecting like-minded men together, even though, however, sometimes there’s a bad apple now and again. Had the privilege of sidewinders crossing my path overtime. I may clearly feel the energy before it come’s to me. Knowing how to operate appropriately in a positive manner being direct, asking questions moving it forward. At least that’s what I do. Well, go ahead and live your life like that, however, you’re not going to do it around me. A pompous person is arrogant or conceited. He'll walk into a party with an inflated ego, ready to tell anyone who will listen that "I'm kind of a big fkn deal." Today we associate the adjective pompous with self-important jerks. Yes, we learned collectively and they’re generally always is some type of adult ism in the room, hopefully. I’m not perfect mind you, by any stretch of the imagination, however, I intuitively know the difference between right, and wrong. I don’t allow bullying by any shade or color. I will face it without it having to suffer in due process with it being addressed. That’s just me, call me in intense, I’ll take that I’m good w/it. I’ve been called much worse. Because fact of the matter is just this. I don’t have time for silly childhood games. I’m not in a popularity contest. We did that in junior high or high school. I do not play in that school yard anylonger. I don’t care if you don’t like me. However, I do care that you have the ability to live a life that is happy, joyous, & so very fucking free. Without killing yourself or hurting others. Live life to the fullest, with those around you. Be kind, courageous, courteous, knowing the rule of thumb “do no harm” most men, even the most challenging of us, all want the same goddamn thing . That is, bottom line; WE all want to be HEARD, WE want to be UNDERSTOOD, and WE want to be LOVED. If you can provide that, even in the moment, you’re well on your way to being the type of men that need to lead, not only in our small gays communities, however, our nation, and the world.
