You may be having a difficult time now, but keep the right perspective. That trouble has qualified you for double. It’s not there to set you back; it’s setting you up for increase, for favor, for new levels.

In difficult times, the enemy loves to whisper "never" lies. “You’ll never be happy. You’ll never get well, never meet someone, never get out of this problem.” Don’t believe those lies. He wouldn’t be telling you that if he didn’t know there was something great in front of you.

Be a prisoner of hope. You’ve seen God do it before and I know He’ll do it again. That’s what sets you up to see the double, the abundance, the greatness of our God.

Even if it is your fault, even if you made the mess, God’s mercy is bigger than any mistake. He never gives up on you. He’s the God of another chance. His arms are still open wide. He can still get you to your destiny.

Make sure you have the right image of God. He’s for you. He has a great plan for your life. He’s not focused on all your failures. He has mercy for every mistake. He’s waiting to gladly welcome you. All you have to do is take that step toward Him.

You may have failed in the past, but that’s what you did, not who you are. Failure is an event, not a person.

You have to decide, “Am I going to keep feeding this fear, this doubt, this intimidation, or am I going to change my diet and start feeding faith, feeding hope, feeding courage?”

When you’ve done everything you can, you’ve prayed, you’ve believed, you’ve stood in faith, there comes a time when you have to quit fighting. Quit trying to force it to work out, quit losing sleep, and release control. God won't take you someplace where He won’t sustain you.

What you’re up against may look too big; you don’t see how it could work out. You could overflow with worry, overflow with doubt, overflow with fear. Try a new approach; start overflowing with hope.

If you’ll start overflowing with hope, believing despite what it looks like, thanking God when you could be complaining, expecting things to change in your favor, then you’re going to see God show out in your life.

God never does His greatest feats in your yesterdays; they are always in your future. The scripture says, “The path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter.” What God has in front of you is more fulfilling, more rewarding than anything you’ve seen in the past.

Maybe today you know God is calling you, but you feel like a stranger. You don’t look like you fit. You have weaknesses. This is the beauty of our God. While we were yet strangers, while we were still far off, God, in His great mercy, chose us.

When thoughts whisper, “You’re unworthy, unqualified.” Tune all that out. Every morning say, “Father, thank You that I am chosen. I am worthy. I am valuable. I am favored. I am anointed. My past is forgiven."

God has chosen you. My question is, will you choose Him? Don’t go through life handpicked by the Creator, with seeds of greatness, redeemed and forgiven, but never step up to who you were created to be.
