While on an assist EMS call our officers located a firearm inside a vehicle of a convicted serious violent felon (SVF) and made the arrest. This was all prompted by a citizen who saw something, and said something. #TheGreatNorthwest

An IMPD NW officer recovered a stolen firearm during a traffic stop for speeding & failure to stop at a stop sign. During the stop the loaded firearm was found inside the vehicle readily accessible to the driver. What a great example of a proactive policing! #TheGreatNorthwest

Two firearm arrests were made on one traffic stop by a MNW officer. The driver was in possession of a stolen firearm. The juvenile passenger, who was previously convicted of armed robbery, also had a handgun. We are making impactful traffic stops daily. #TheGreatNorthwest

An officer was able to turn a simple investigation of an expired license plate into something bigger. After a search of a vehicle by the officer and a house by detectives 144.75 grams of marijuana, a handgun, and over $3100 was located. #TheGreatNorthwest

Wednesday, IMPD NW officers will teach CRASE(Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events). This class will be held at 7201 Girl Scout Ln at 6pm. This is a FREE class!! Due to the mature subject matter children 13 & over must be accompanied by an adult. #TheGreatNorthwest

During a traffic stop yesterday evening a NW officer discovered the driver was in possession of a stolen firearm. Narcotics was also located in the vehicle. NW officers have been taking many stolen/illegally possessed firearms off the street lately! 🤜🤛🚔 #TheGreatNorthwest

NW Flex Team recovered a stolen handgun, over 120g Meth/ecstacy, 15g of marijuana, and over $1900 during a compliance check with Community Corrections. The subject was arrested for Dealing in Meth, Dealing in Controlled Substance, warrant, and other charges. #TheGreatNorthwest
