I voted against #ACA5, a measure that would ask the voters to repeal Prop 209. I do not agree with affirmative action. At a time when we need more unity & less acrimony, this ballot measure may pit blacks & Latinos against whites & Asians, possibly creating more divisiveness.

If people can go out and protest, riot, break into stores, and create all sorts of havoc, they can also go out and VOTE — and keep our Election Honest. With millions of mail-in ballots being sent out, who knows where they are going, and to whom?

Any protesters, anarchists, agitators, looters or lowlifes who are going to Oklahoma please understand, you will not be treated like you have been in New York, Seattle, or Minneapolis. It will be a much different scene!

I am running to serve again; to protect what I fought for as a Navy fighter pilot. With CA's problems of high taxes and homelessness threatening to spread across the nation, we need a fighter in Congress, not a career politician. I am ready to answer the CALL once again.

BREAKING: 5-2 vote to authorize any legal action against the state by Huntington Beach, Councilmembers Barbara Delgleize and Kim Carr opposed. No public discussion, all in closed session. Newport currently in closed session debating a similar move.
