@PearlteaRizzy It was always weird to me because literally all my knowledge of drag culture was of it being overly and overtly sexual. Like that's the point. You'd have names like Fanny Tickler or Sandy Crack or Ivana Sukuoff Retroactively pretending it was "never sexual" irked me.

LGBT rights backpedalling happened right after Drag Queen Story Hour and Desmond Is Amazing. And it's spilling over to trans and gay folks because bigots see us all the same. Regardless of what you think about drag queens, the tipping point was from them being in the spotlight.
Like, whether or not it's inherently sexual, the vast majority of drag media is sexualized. And Google isn't even that accurate of a search engine anymore so any discourse surrounding drag culture is now cancer.
