"I'm upset at this funeral home's prices because I want their top-of-the-line funeral but I don't want to pay their prices. They took advantage of me." No, they didn't.
Some funeral homes are pricey. Maybe because their facilities are very costly and fancy, maybe for not so understandable reasons. But they're allowed to charge what they want. This is a market economy.
Thread: American grieving consumers, I want to offer some home truths. It's clear no one else has, and this is probably the first time you'll hear anyone say this. Please hear it in the spirit of helpfulness, though you'll find it bracing.
