@CharlieShemp @deuceohsixx $7.25 is obsolete. About 1% of hourly wage earners in the entire country makes the federal minimum wage. If you look at each state. Median hourly wages are hovering in the $20s. The only thing raising that minimum wage will do is increase the cost of living and kill jobs.

@iamLEFT @deuceohsixx McDonald's made the claim themselves. The reality is, if the mandated floor over shoots production, it negatively impacts the company and ultimately wages and jobs. So now, less jobs, more automation, but higher wages for workers they can't automate.
