Good news testers, I just got our latest (and hopefully last) prototype test board. This board has more pin options and will allow for controller splitting for those sick CD-i multiplayer games. Final board design will be smaller and have mounting options! #snes2cdi

@MisterAddons @SpicerLabworks @FragolRoc Yep, MiniDisc used ATRAC. For a long time, PlayStation consoles (up to sometime in the PS3's life cycle) continued to use ATRAC for audio compression for in-game sound assets, although it was a newer version of the algorithm.

@MisterAddons PS minidisc is kinda different because it has its own compression standard if I remember correctly. So it’d have its own sound. I have both minidiscs and Zip drives :D @FragolRoc uses minidiscs for every day life, and they have a phone capable of higher end digital audio

So this super cheap RGB 192 does have a problem. It seems the -5V rail is not generated properly. Isolated the rail and it was not shorted. Power supplied was fine. Maybe the LT1054 was shot…🫠

Next on the list is putting together this DIY N64RGB kit by @FragolRoc and @zaxour. Seems to be much simpler than the SNES kit, so let's do this!
@FrankWDoom @FragolRoc @GrapeadeFade well it took months of waiting, buying stuff but it started to become solidified last night, started cracking all these boxes and packages..still have a lot more work to do but stream and gameplay quality going from ashy to classy
Finishing touches on the unit. Installed the SNES Bypass from @FragolRoc and @zaxour, as well as installing the 78S05. A quick test later and IT LIIIIIVES!! And it's looking sexy, too ;)
