@Periphery_Anon One of my first gencon bt games, I saw some kid with a BRZ C3 berserker at the table, the one with TSM. Berserker had barely any armor and had 2 engine hits, had a ton of kill stamps collected on his player card. Proceeded to chop another 5 or 6 mechs in half by itself.

@ZyMazza Thing that confuses me is how on one hand given millions of years signs of civilization would reduce to an odd sedimentary layer, but on the other some random animal dying in a river can leave an imprint than can outlast anything purposely made

@agraybee I can understand command not caring about wellbeing of their soldiers, but they would certainly care about winning and prestige. Neither is served by trying to out-cheap the resource strapped rebels you are trying to wipe out.

@agraybee it's stupid for the empire's standard fightercraft to be so egregiously inferior to those of the rebels. You can rebuild death stars and blot the sky with star destroyers but are suddenly budget conscious on tie fighters? Come on.

@lucendacier Medium lasers imo are interesting in that they are very humble weapons that don't do anything crazy. Almost everything uses it. Nobody bats an eye at them. Practically background noise. But in so far as tonnage vs output they are incredibly powerful
