As someone who grew up in the Muslim world, I’ve seen this pattern repeat itself: When Muslims are weak and in the minority, they speak endlessly about tolerance, coexistence, and peace. When they become strong and gain power, that tolerance completely disappears, even toward their own people. This isn’t an opinion. "YET AGAIN": WHO OWNS THE ASYLUM CENTRE WHO HOUSED KILLER ON THE RUN? BY SUSANNE DELANEY OFM Ltd (who own Atlas House; alleged to have been the residence of on the run killer of Jamie Carney) is a family-run company (incorporated 2006). Directors/shareholders have included people such as Jamie Carnegie, Catherine Leen, Elaine O’Connor, and Michelle Carnegie. It’s been involved in managing these centres for years. No pics are available of these people. Atlas House Killarney is one of the main (and apparently the primary ongoing) IPAS centres in the town. It is state-owned (by the Irish government via IPAS/Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth) but privately operated under contract. The operator is Onsite Facilities Management Ltd (OFM Ltd), a Kerry-based company that has long handled several Kerry IPAS centres. HIQA inspections reference them as the people I've listed here as the providers for Atlas House.Recently we @IrishInquiry also highlighted that Ali Sorhabi (who decapitated his wife Masumeh Sorhabi) was being housed by Cyril Duffy of Tirawley Limited. Duffy has personally made several millions in profit from more than doubling the population of the tiny rural town of Breaffy, Co.Mayo. His hotel complex holds up to 1000 asylum seekers. Mostly men. It is situated across from a small primary school. It is a 30 second walk away. He also owns another human trafficking profit centre 5 minutes drive away in the Moneen Retail park. This is where Sorhabi was housed unbeknownst to locals. The killer had been moved there from Clifden after his wife reported him to police. Unfortunately Masumeh, a mother of two children (aged 5 and 9) was not moved to a refuge. Sorhabi was able to travel to Clifden and commit the first murder there in over 105 years (and even then the last murder was related to The War of Independence). Last year over 1,900 women were turned away from refuges in Ireland due to a lack of beds. Minister Helen McEntee has recently stated that she cares so much about women experiencing domestic violence but previously also commented that the government cannot just be expected to provide 500 beds for women (and their children) at the drop of a hat. They can ONLY do that for single males new to the parish. Meanwhile, Jamie Carney's killer is on the run and the media have blurred out his face in their reporting. He had already claimed asylum in France and should not have been here. The media have begun the spin. They quoted Sarah Benson of Women's Aid who has pivoted the blame toward Irish society and our apparently misogynistic attitude toward women. No mention of Islam or the Middle Eastern suspect. Just yesterday @rtenews was quoting all male muslim voices including @DrUmarAlQadri bemoaning the rise of "hate rhetoric" against Islam in Ireland. With straight faces. Bad timing giving all the recent attacks and court cases involving muslim perpetrators. The cases are documented. The attackers usually are not. Articles like this seek to strengthen the Islamic position in Ireland with the help of the media and billionaire funded NGOs like "The Hope and Courage Collective." The most recent victim's 13 year old daughter stumbled upon her mother dead in bed. She had been killed by trauma to the head in what is described as a brutal attack. Imagine. Not Just navigating the loss of a parent, but navigating the trauma of finding her mother with her head caved in and the room covered in blood. The fear and the terror must have been overwhelming. Yet again we have a government with blood on their hands. Positively dripping off them. Yet again we have a media willing to reframe events. Shored up by a publicly funded NGO. Yet again we have greedy asylum hotel owners making millions from housing psychopaths. Yet again we have a murder victim and another child left motherless and traumatised. And yet again we have an Irish public who will do.... PRECISELY NOTHING.
