This NPR thing illustrates why I think Yarvin and Rufo are both right, but doing different things and talking past one another. Attacking the new CEO is good. It puts a spotlight on the dysfunction of our institutions. That’s the Rufo part. But firing her isn’t going to change very much. Everyone who works there is on her wavelength. If she goes, someone very similar but less publicly ridiculous will replace her. And the programming will continue as is. The real long term solution - well underway in the media sphere - is just not listening to NPR at all. No one conservative (except people like myself who feel obligated to do so or get a kick out of it) listen to it anyway. There are many alternatives. And one of them could one day be what NPR is. That’s the Yarvin part.
@FischerKing64 I don’t disagree with any of this. I’m very aware that decapitation strikes are symbolically useful, but must lead to deeper institutional changes to be meaningful. Wrote an essay about this during the Claudine Gay saga. Yarvin not necessary for this conclusion.
@FischerKing64 Chris Rufo has dedicated his life to this cause and is making amazing progress outting the insanity; et vous?
@FischerKing64 @StoicSkeptical Yes, please - just stop listening. Delete it from your life. Remove it from your car radio, your podcast subscriptions, everywhere: x.com/jamesmcdaniel/…

@FischerKing64 NPR is good to leave playing when you leave your dog home alone, for the classical music. Just make sure he knows to take the news and talk content with a hefty grain of salt.
@FischerKing64 Yes, this! Now DEFUND NPR Rescind the name National Public Radio because none of that is truthful REVOKE their license to the NPR call letters because they chose to represent only a part, by division, of the nation Force them to recreate a new trashy leftist entity
@FischerKing64 Yes. In the long term, its the opt out and utilization of the alternative, in parallel, in effect starving the beast, in all facets of life/society that will force the real change. This isn’t to say that Rufo’s work isn’t important. Not at all.
@FischerKing64 And that's ok. As the orchestra needs brass to be brass, and woodwinds to be woodwinds, so the American needs... x.com/zarathustra515…
