Communities should be learning to protect themselves. This is why we need gun ranges in urban cities. They're cultural centers. Places where people learn how to defend themselves and their property and their community from gangs and crime. That's how you build the future.

@FenixAmmunition Yeah, it's funny how nobody 'scatters' at parties around here in rural Alabama, because everybody's carrying. At least, they are at the ones I attend. You're right: it's a cultural thing, and we need to teach the culture of competent self-defense to urban folk.
@FenixAmmunition I like this idea, turn some of the local parks into shooting ranges. The parks board can provide instructors, just like public pools. It is for the safety of the community. Getting people proper gun safety training.
@FenixAmmunition Also lower the barrier to be able to carry. I'd put it about $1k and 2 months here, to go from never using a firearm to having a basic setup and CPL. In Pontiac (and Detroit probably isn't much better), the average household income is like $40k.
@FenixAmmunition They blame the cops - after blaming the cops for doing their jobs. 🤣 Na. If I was a cop - I'd only go when called as well.
@FenixAmmunition First we need these commie states to adapt stand your ground laws. Doesn’t do people any good to defend themselves if they’re going to jail immediately after. Most of these cities/states give you two options, death or jail
@FenixAmmunition People don't understand that the police have no duty to protect you unless your in their custody. 1989 DeShaney v. Winnebago County Department of Social Services 2005 Castle Rock v. Gonzales The only person responsible for your protection is yourself.
@FenixAmmunition Urban centers are the elephant grave yards of cultures.
