Week 8 Sunday Reactions/Thoughts Some massive league altering injuries and some bounce back WR performers in what was a bit of an odd/interesting week Jets/Giants- Game was so gross. Tyrod/Waller key injuries to watch. Tough break for Waller who was a top 5 TE the past month. Breece continues to struggle on the ground behind a rough OL but his pass game usage is making up for it. Barkley should be a volume monster but facing stacked boxes to have no room to run Jags/Steelers- Looked like a dud was incoming for Etienne but he strikes again on a long receiving TD. Tlaw was solid in real life but bust for fantasy. Ridley/Engram solid days while Kirk bust. Diontae with 14 targets and the clear torget hog since returning. Pickens had the TD but only 1 catch and the clear number 2 to Diontae. Eagles/Commanders- The Devonta Smith bounce back was in full effect. AJ Brown is a man amongst boys and might be the most valuable asset in fantasy for as long as this run last. Dotson finally showed up but might just be a fluke week. Brob looked awesome was a bit surprising to not see them feed him more. Rams/Cowboys- Im officially declaring Tony Pollard the unluckiest player in fantasy so far. Elite role/high scoring offense/tons of red zone carries but terrible playcalling not getting him to the edge of running up the middle. Even worse the Cowboys every week are in a blowout script wether win/loss. CeeDee Lamb my goodness. That game was on the cusp for a longtime and he finally deliver a monster week. Ferguson was great also but just no need to throw in 4th quarter. Kupp/Puka doomed if Stafford thumb injury is serious Vikings/Packers- Tragic news on Kirk. All Vikings take a massive hit. JJ might be able to be a solid WR2 off volume alone when he returns but I fear Hockenson/Addison may be borderline unstartable. Akers has outplayed Mattison again and they might have to shift to run heavy offense. Packers offense is a joke right now and nobody can be started on that dumpster fire. Falcons/Titans- Arthur Smith FINALLY gave the keys to Heineke who made the offense look much sharper in 2nd half. Bijan with 50+ yards and a TD in the 2nd half alone. Hopefully they stick with him over Ridder. Drake London injury is one to monitor. Will Levis without a doubt the shocker of the day. Dhop/Henry may not be dead yet if Levis can keep this rolling there is no reason to go back to Tannehill. Falcons D had been great before this too. Patriots/Dolphins- Not much to say here pretty textbook game. Waddle finally coming alive if he can stay healthy hes got as much weekly upside as any WR2 in the league. It might be a gross RBBC when Achane returns with Jeff Wilson’s role growing. Patriots offense continues to suck. Saints/Colts- I wouldn't call Olave unlucky like Pollard but they are both just underperforming with elite usage/talent/roles. Olave dropped a 30 yard TD today and its starting to look like his mental confidence isn’t all there. Kamara keeps rolling but Taysom Hill is going to be a thorn in his side on goal line. Shaheed blow up game but hes too unreliable weekly to trust. As long as Zack Moss keeps playing like an elite RB its gonna be hard for Taylor to get a full workload. Pittman duds yardage wise but salvages his day with a goaline TD. Josh Downs keeps looking special Texans/Panthers- Super disappointing day for CJ Stroud. This game was just so slow and painful for everyone involved. Dameon Pierce vultured from the goal line twice. Panthers long drives killed the clock and although Hubbard was the clear lead back he really struggled so he may not retain that same role next week. Thielen finally came back down to earth. Nico Collins/Tank Dell both disappoint Browns/Seahawks- Pretty wild game. PJ Walker bounced back and actually looked solid enough to keep Cooper/Njoku fantasy value alive. Jerome Ford should have sat this week out and reseted. Tyler Lockett stole the show. TD for JSN. Metcalf/Walker underwhelm. Charbonnett is too good to not get more touches and he could push this towards a 65/35 split real soon. Bengals/Niners- The Bengals offense is officially back. Burrow looked awesome and 100% healthy. Ja’marr Chase keeps on rolling with another big game. Was wrong on Mixon this week he actually looked as good as he has all season long in a bad matchup. He could be a real RB1 down the stretch if the bengals keep it rolling. Tee Higgins could be an interesting buy low but he might just have to take a back seat to Chase all season. Purdy with some questionable throws but without Deebo the volume is condensed to CMC/Kittle/Aiyuk. Chiefs/Broncos- Upset of the day. Always felt like the Broncos defensive start was a bit fluky. On paper they have studs and a great D the past few years. Now the past few weeks they have returned to form as they shut down Mahomes and company. Jerry Jeudy TD sighting. Javonte has gotten better each week and could push torwards high RB2 territory with this volume. Ravens/Cardinals- Lamar Jackson seems to always struggle in cakewalk matchups and thrive in tough ones. Once again he bust fantasy wise in a golden matchup as Gus Edwards takes 3 TD's in the red zone. Dobbs was awful today but Trey Mcbride is showing why he should of been a top waiver add this week.
@FantasyAdvice99 Would you trade pollard away or hope he recaptures form? I agree it’s the play calling but either way not producing like he should 3/4. So frustrating to watch the boys play running him between tackles
@FantasyAdvice99 Trying to decide between jacobs or Palmer. He only has DJ Moore. I’m up 5. Ppr
@FantasyAdvice99 2-6 half ppr what should I do?
@FantasyAdvice99 Tony Pollard gon sell for me in the playoffs i already know Mike having Dak throw the ball when they're up 30+ points in the second quarter is really ridiculous
