EPHESIANS 1:15-22 "I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.

Whether we feel we found God or not, Scripture says He chooses us. What we know is this: when we hear the gospel and believe, He marks us as His own and seals us with His Holy Spirit. People ask, “How can you believe in a God you cannot see?” We cannot produce the kind of proof that ends the question. What the Spirit does produce is the fruit of a changed life — and this new life is not quite self-generated. We still choose how our hands, feet, and mouth move. God is not a detached passenger. We can still choose to sin, but now it feels empty or worse. Some feel the weight of mortality end and eternity open. The fear of death evaporates. A lifetime of sin no longer stands as a wall between us and communion with God as Father. God Almighty treats us as His own. This is not possession. It is an overwhelming sense of belonging to the King of kings, through Jesus Christ, by the Spirit who now dwells in us. He then takes us under His wing and begins to teach the life Jesus expects us to model — a life designed to endure forever in peace, love, and holiness, and even to undertake purposes with everlasting impact. So when the question comes again — how do you know God is real? — the first answer is not an argument. It is that He lives in His people by His Spirit. As He loved us first, even while we were still sinners, so we are to love others the same way. The death of Jesus was the price we were bought with. The empty grave was not the only proof that death does not have the last word. The living Word now lives in His children.

Your not wrong, but it does cut both ways. Men and women end their marriages for being selfish and break their vows to "love one another, sacrificially, both need to make sacrifices. Love requires doing good, for the other [kindness] and being married to the opposite sex is difficult, but designed to make each other better, by seeking to know, to understand, to find the best way to meet each others needs. Mastering the process of sacrificial love, orient both toward the hardest tasks of all, bearing and especially raising a family. It is ironic that the #1 killer of marriage is simple to understand, but hardest to execute. Live sacrificially for the other, but for their good. Neither should ever feel like a doormat. ... love one another, for their good. Pray together, pray alone. Marriage is hard. Raising kids is harder, but when done right, nothing on earth is more 'worth doing'. - grandfather of nine.

Talk about weirdest food combos?? When I was sixteen, my best friend and I filled a five-gallon bucket with clams we dug right outside the cabin. We were proud of that haul. My Dad was not. The rule, it turned out, was simple: take only what you can eat in the five days we were staying at the beach. The next morning a strange smell woke us in the kitchen. Dad had made pancakes and stirred the leftover clam meat straight into the batter. He was going to make sure those clams got eaten. We sat staring at the bizarre stack. We were young and hungry, so I named them “Clampakes.” We ate the whole pile. Maple syrup only. No tartar sauce.

Biggest mistake management made was handing out $100,000 candy bars to a bunch of employees that were celebrating 5 and 10 year anniversaries. It was of course a joke, but nobody laughed at feeling mocked for years of supporting the company. They never did that again, but now have much nicer Christmas parties and gift giving to every employee, every year. Good on them... now!
