You can't have it both ways. You can't outlaw homeless people from sleeping in public space and then cut services to help them get off the streets. They aren't going to magically disappear and being poor isn't a crime no matter how much the privileged would like to make it so.
@FPWellman They’re not homeless because they’re poor.
@FPWellman Wait, I thought your boy Biden had the bestest, most wonderfulest economy ever? If that were true, shouldn't these folks be able to find one of those good paying jobs y'all keep touting and get off the streets?
@FPWellman Our society looks down upon folks that have had a hard time. We don’t lift up we push down. We should all be ashamed. Me included
@FPWellman Maybe if our government would help American rather than other countries, maybe we could help the situation… Obviously the programs in place have never worked.
@FPWellman 50 years of trickle down economics. Failed!
Pissing heroin or fentanyl up your arm all day should be a crime. Same with abusing a myriad of other hard drugs. If you choose to live like this then jail, halfway house or mental institutions should be your home, not the street corner. Working Americans are tired of dealing with the Zombies on our streets.
@FPWellman Describe what service has been provided over the past 2 decades that has helped. Throwing more money at the problem IS NOT GOING TO SOLVE IT. FFS.
@FPWellman Most of these people used to be in mental hospitals or the funny farm. So to save money for the state they close all those institutions and turn them loose on the street.
