Back to first person in ELDEN RING with ERFPS Ver.2! The mod development has restarted, and new releases are being posted on GitHub. Massive thanks to CupCakeSnake on Discord for the footage. #ELDENRING
In this clip I load a sound resource from one of the game's own files, and play it. I do this through libER, which will soon get this functionality in a stable release. The mod in the clip will be in the libER examples.

The first version of libER, the ELDEN RING API library is out! It includes a patch that improves game performance and reduces RAM consumption by ~1 GB! Modding ELDEN RING through a safer, common API with a good documentation coverage: github.com/Dasaav-dsv/lib…

Tests done subsequently in the same area (in the pic above), currently getting 800 - 1,200 MB less RAM usage depending on the area and load

@zagStygian Unfortunately, no. I was never able to track it down. IIRC I spent around 5 hours trying to fix it fruitlessly.

@zagStygian It's something I'd love to fix, and I do have a couple ideas of how to do it. Guess you'll have to wait and see.
