@FPLMeerkat He’ll probably start the season ahead of Barry, and will get a decent amount of minutes as a substitute, hit form when Moyes joined who plays to his strengths. Our attacking numbers improved a lot after Moyes. If you want a £5.5m forward to rotate he’s a good shout.

This team is ideal for playing it safe in the first few weeks while we wait to see who hits form. The only risk is Salah hurting me a lot early on, I just need a strategy to be able to get to him within a couple of weeks if needed.

Didn’t know if I was going too early with WC but considering I used it to bring Palmer back in and also get Isak, it has perfectly so far. FH planned for GW34 so if I can survive the next couple of weeks without Liverpool, Arsenal & Haaland doing too much I’ll be flying. #FPL

I’m around 15k in the world and have managed to get 8 players playing this week. My Free Hit is still in tact. You can only imagine how much I’m loving that Regulion red card. I might actually survive this week in a good position? #FPL

I’m going to have 8 of these playing without a FH so feeling good that this is the GW29 template. I dropped from 5k to about 15k in GW28 but confident I can make that back up with FH34 if I survive this week. #FPL

@LFCnino9 Am I right in saying this is 4 players for next week as it stands? I think the best chip strategy is FH34 and BB37. If you can get to 7 or 8 players in GW29 without too much of a hit it’s worth taking that route. So maybe like Gordon for Barkley this week and 2FT for GW29.

WC 30/31 FH34 BB37 Winning strategy. I’ll be doing this. Only 2 doublers in GW28 and 8 players in GW29 but I’ll more than make up for that in the final 9 weeks. I’m 5k in the world. Differentiation is what will improve on that rank. #FPL

@tomo_w94 @FPLJnr Given his EO and price you’d really need double digit points from him every week for it to outweigh the benefits of using that budget on having a much stronger team aside from him. ‘Potential’ is great but there’s enough data & form now to show theres better options this year.

@tomo_w94 @FPLJnr I’m only worried about him in DGW’s, the odd hat-trick doesn’t bother me. And I still maintain there’s no point owning unless you captain as you’ll lose rank on him. If you spend that budget elsewhere you can gain when he doesn’t score huge (which is much more often than not).

@tomo_w94 @FPLJnr I’m ranked 6k in the world. I didn’t own him from GW7 until GW22. Not owning him allowed me to have Salah, Son, TAA, Tripper, Saka, Watkins etc. which pulled me up the ranks much quicker. There was only 2 weeks he got double digits (16pts) and my rank didn’t suffer for it.
