So many people simply missed the point of this tweet lol The character design is so plain, no face details and shading, just like most Boruto designs in most of it's episodes, This has nothing to do with an in-between frame Detailed Character design ex : Kenpachi from ep 20

@FEVERofBLEACH @JaymesHanson I don’t care that he doesn’t like the design. Art is subjective after all. I believe the manner in which he criticized the design was unprofessional and disrespectful.
@FEVERofBLEACH It’s not a design thing, the anatomy of the face is just bad
@FEVERofBLEACH That’s true, but this tweet is done in bad faith. You can have the opinion that they’re bad designs, but using an in-between frame as an example is dishonest, using something that has nothing to do with your argument to artificially exaggerate reality.
@FEVERofBLEACH Everything don’t need light shading lol
@FEVERofBLEACH The designs lack structure imo, very weak, bland & soft, not a fan, I'm a big fan of smooth animation with simple designs like recent one piece, jjk, & naruto fights, fluidity is always my favorite, but in this show the animation is fine I'm just not a fan of the character design
