Great news — FATS is officially back open!
There are still quite a few mucky and soft spots out there. Please help us protect the trails:

FATS is currently under an official temporary closure by the U.S. Forest Service due to more than two inches of rainfall today. The trails are extremely wet. Stay tuned for updates!
(March 12) FATS Update
The system that rolled through earlier today dropped about ½ inch of rain in the FATS area. Thanks to the recent dry stretch and the growing season kicking in, trails should dry quickly and be good to ride, run, or hike in about 24 hours.

FATS is under an official temporary closure by the U.S. Forest Service due to 2+ inches of rain since yesterday. Trails are extremely wet.
Please do NOT access the trail system while closed — this applies to all users.
(Feb 22 | 4:45 PM) FATS Trail Update
Between yesterday and today, the area around FATS received over ½ inch of rain. It will likely take about 72 hours for the trails to dry out enough for use.
Please help us protect the trails by staying off until conditions improve!
FATS Update!
FATS just picked up another ¼ inch of rain, with more predicted for tomorrow! Please don’t ride the trails when they are wet, it will be next week before they are dry enough if we get additional rain on Saturday. More than ever please help us protect our trails!

FATS received about an inch of rain over the last 24 hours. Please give the trails a couple of days to dry before using to help protect the tread.

The widespread rain on Wednesday brought only about a half inch to the FATS area. The trails will need a little time to dry, but warmer weather and recent dry conditions should help things improve quickly.
FATS Trail Update: Snow made for a fun weekend! ❄️ Trails are soft as snow melts—3” ≈ 1/3” rain. Freeze-thaw affects the top tread. Please give trails time to dry. With warmer temps ahead, they’ll be ride-ready soon!
FATS Update - Jan 18, 2 PM
The FATS area got ~¾" of rain. Freezing temps expected for 3 days. Trails should dry quickly afterward, but please wait ~ 48 hrs before riding. Thanks for keeping the trails in great shape!

~0.25” of rain fell near FATS. With dry conditions, it should absorb quickly. Trails should be good to go with a few isolated damp spots. Please stay centered to keep the singletrack single. Thanks!

A cold front rolled through dropping just under an inch of rain in the FATS area. It has been dry so trails might dry out in about 24 hours. Please allow time for the trails to dry out before using. Thank you!
