Through all the ups and downs, surprises and triumphs, building Destiny alongside our players has been a monumental privilege. While our love for Destiny 2 has not changed, it has become clear that after The Final Shape, we have reached the time for our shared worlds, and Destiny, to live beyond Destiny 2. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. To that end, on June 9, 2026, we will release the final live-service content update for Destiny 2 to begin that new journey as a studio. Though active development may be concluding, we will ensure that Destiny 2 remains playable, just as the original Destiny is today. Many changes in this final update will aim to ensure that Destiny 2 is a welcoming place for players to return to. We’re proud of Destiny 2, the places it took us, and the legacy it has created. Because of you all, our universe is vast, built on years of shared stories, adventures, and victories. From the Cosmodrome to the Pale Heart to the Lawless Frontier, we have forged life-long memories and friendships with you all. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made that journey with us. From the deepest part of our hearts, thank you, and we'll see you in the stars.

Since Archie is always disappearing... Ada is too busy at the Weaver, maybe I should take him to Sat's and my quarters so that he won't go on dangerous planetary adventures.

I was pretty much absent for a while, sorry 'bout that. Rather unusual things kept me busy, for example setting up ADU's. And today's the day that my engineer background will help Guardians across The City to defend it better against the troops of the Witness!

@Sator_9 > to do. *looks over to her husband* You look like you would want to volunteer immediately - as his father.

@Sator_9 *clenches her jaws briefly, clears her throat* Right. Watching him handling those rowdies was... shocking, yet satisfying at that time. *averts her eyes and raises both of her eyebrows* Not so sure about that, to be honest... But setting up a fireteam seems to be the best thing >

@Sator_9 > truly sounds a bit much but since we don't know what kind of powers he has now... I just hope he won't detect the others except for James. It could end in a bloodbath, I know how brutal Adrian can be. *a cold shiver runs down her spine*

@Sator_9 *raises one eyebrow upon James's words and looks down afterwards* Zavala wouldn't be pleased if he loses a capable Titan for good to a foolish undertaking... *grabs the loose cardigan she's wearing on its front and tightens it around her shoulders* Five Guardians plus yours >

@Sator_9 > to both Titans and puts one hand on top of Sator's shoulder blade, pats it gently* Just what Sat says. It's possible that Adrian recognizes you as a threat by now and wants to get rid of you. Nobody could save you if things get out of hand.

@Sator_9 *watches the human male approaching their door with large steps* Mahony, wait! Don't leave now! *moves quickly forward but this time, her husband is faster and grabs the man already* *raises her eyebrows in astonishment while she observes their dispute for a moment* *walks over >

@Sator_9 > possibly falling objects* Where do you want to go now? You shouldn't approach the Pyramid alone, it might even be a trap at this point!

@Sator_9 *looks at James kinda shocked and holds her breath for a brief moment* Hearing...whispers? //It's even more worrisome than I first thought.// *takes a big sip from her glass, grimaces and puts it down on the table before the human Titan hits it* *makes herself ready to catch >

@Sator_9 > that Adrian might be in cahoots with the... The Witness. What if that's a reference to a Pyramid or... *stops abruptly* Europa? Ziggurat?

@Sator_9 *stares at the techpad until it falls into the screensaver mode, the screen goes all black* *puts her free arm around her waist, shaking her whiskey glass slightly* So it's something different... *ponders and takes another sip from her glass* What if... Sat and I had the theory >

@Sator_9 > at her husband, nodding slightly* *focuses on the words on the techpad next* Damn... That's not very precise. Sounds like another insider for me. *looks directly at James now*

@Sator_9 *gets up with the can in her hand, then reaches up for another glass and pours some of the old whiskey in one-handed* *comes over and gives Sator his drink* Is it any good? Doesn't look like it. *takes a sip for herself and leans against the couch* Ah, of course. *shoots a gaze >
